Release Notes 10.1.3 (13.05.2026)
Previous Releases: - v10.1.2 13.04.2026
Notice
•	With the release of v10.1.x the behavior of our devices has changed when DHCP is enabled but there is no DHCP server available. The devices will now comply with RFC 3927 and assign themselves a random link-local IP address (also known as APIPA (Automatic Private IP Addressing)) in the range of 169.254.0.0/16 and not longer 192.168.0.190 / 191. The IP address can be discovered with a multicast DNS (mDNS) request. The device is also reachable via DNS name, which by default consists of the device type and the last 8 digits of the MAC address (e.g. http://pdu-0FCB49D8).
•	This ReOS versions is yet to be qualified with RiZone. Soon a statement on compatibility will be published by the RiZone team
Release Notes
•	ALL see Release Notes of v10.1.0 - v10.1.2, as this is only a patch-release
Open Bugs
•	CIOC-LCP Display: The legacy Neso-Display on older devices will not function if the Name, Location and Contact information exceed approximately 22 characters
Bugfixes
•	CIOC-Production: removed redundant production information that was causing the error Hardware: error (HWCODE&)
•	WebUI: Reduced configuration steps when creating and configuring new users. Previously this dialog required pressing of the "save-button" after each step
•	WebUI: Fixed infinite "Reloading Devices" banner after an update to CAN-Peripherals
•	FTP & WebUI: Fixed rescue software version information in the update dialog and the "system.info" file

Release Notes 10.1.0 (19.03.2026)
Previous Releases: - v10.0.3 10.10.2025 (ALL)
Notice
•	Due to changes in our WebUI you should reload the browsers cache (STRG + F5)
•	These ReOS versions are not compatible with RiZone 3.11.109.0 or older
•	It is not recommended to use LDAP and RADIUS in combination as external account providers. Conflicts can occur if both are enabled at the same time, especially if a username is available on both providers
•	When NTP is enabled, time zone changes wont be applied to syslog messages. The workaround is to disable NTP before changing the time zone. After that NTP can be enabled again and syslog will use the correct time zone
Release Notes
Open Bugs
•	Radius: Login through SFTP not possible
•	Tree variable view always shows the status "n.a." for every display variant, NFC and SMS-Unit under the system node, that are supported by the operating System. The SMS-Unit is not supported by the CIOC. The Status will remain "n.a." despite what a connected device is reporting
•	Rights for higher-level tree elements in the Access administration are not automatically transferred to subordinate elements. However, these can be set manually
•	Modbus TCP: Configuration of negative integer values like a temperature threshold is not working
•	Description name of CMCX peripherals will accept 64 characters, but will only save 40
•	Due to updated web browser policies our method of displaying a webcam live stream on the WebUI (including the dashboard) may not work anymore. Pictures can still be saved to USB drives and the webcam streaming link will be provided on the WebUI though

Bugfixes
•	When upgrading from a version prior to v3.23.00 the user is forced again to change his password. Only v3.23.00 used to have this feature for existing users, but this version should not be used anymore in upgrade paths. So for example when updating from v3.17.30_7 to v10.1.0 the new version will make sure that all system users will update their passwords
•	CIOC-LCP & CIOC-LCU Serialnumber of the device will now be shown properly in the Scan & Service App
•	Devices, such as temperatur sensors for filter fan input configuration, can be added again in the config of virtual devices. This applies both to internal and external devices
•	fixed bug where WebUI representation of CMC3-GRF was not available on some device configurations
•	fixed that RADIUS enable/disable was not persistent throughout a reboot
•	Non existent or invalid "Server Shutdown" receivers will not cause a reboot anymore upon a call
•	LDAP-Users with admin rights are able to change password again
•	fixed stability issue when more that 16 CMC3 & CMCX sensors are connected simultaneously
•	Removed all references to the development project "wireless devices"
Security
•	IEC64223 4-2 certification to Security Level 2
•	Update to linux kernel 6.12
Features
•	Emergency PIN function for numeric code lock
•	A new dialog in "Access Configuration" allows administrators to define actions after a configurable limit of login attempts for "2-Faktor pin code and card combinations" has been reached. Combinations can be released after a specific time automatically or manually (CR-018360)
•	A new system status was added that combines all the status variables for system components. This status is available on all management protocols (CR-018402)
•	Port configuration for LDAP was added to all protocols that support LDAP configuration
•	Updated interfaces for production and service tools
•	Created separate rittal production & service tool "RiPS"

Release Notes 10.0.3 (10.10.2025)
Previous Releases: - v10.0.2 10.09.2025 (CIOC)
Notice
•	Due to changes in our WebUI you should reload the browsers cache (STRG + F5)

•	It is not recommended to use LDAP and RADIUS in combination as external account providers. Conflicts can occur if both are enabled at the same time, especially if a username is available on both providers
Notice - Service
•	Before replacing an old CMC3 peripheral with the CMCX counterpart, make sure to deploy a version starting from v10.0.0 to the system and also to the fallback/rescue partition (R-Image). So when a customer executes the rescue, he will always fall back to a version where the peripherals are working
•	Current upgrade paths for example to upgrade from an v3.15.XX to this v10.0.2 should exclude the v3.23.00 because bad performance in this version could cause problems. More information can be found in the service manual under Updating constantly rebooting systems
